Divine Favor

Faith plays an important role on Valnir Island, because the goodwill of the gods can help you achieve great things.

There are three gods in Valnir: Kerska, Tjosull and Yggjur.

Yggjur the god of battle, power, death and ambition. He may give you power and strength.
Kerska the goddess of hearth and home, agriculture, fertility, sex and love.
Tjosull the god of the forge, invention, trade and cunning.

The favour of the gods can be earnt or lost through your actions. If you are god-favoured, you will receive certain bonuses. But be warned, it is almost impossible to stand equally well with all the gods.

Offerings can be made to each god, either at sacred shrines and rune stones or by priests and wise women. However, each god desires different votive offerings at different times. Learn how to please the gods and earn their good will.
