We’ve changed the graphics of Valnir Rok to improve the user experience for you, our loyal vikings of Valnir Rok! As you can see, we have deeper and more beautiful colors now. Check out the awesome differences:





We’ve also worked on several changes and fixes:

Fixes:

  • Armor: Fixed an issue that caused the players to stop equipping their items properly.
  • Armor: Armors for the female character and the brigandine armors are fixed and updated.
  • Horse: The assigned mount spawn button won’t be called anymore when being pressed while the chat is open.
  • Horse: Players are now able to summon their horse again even if they leave the proximity of it without despawning it before.
  • Horse: Horses do have sounds now, jaw and reins don’t bug away anymore and black horses do have the right color.
  • Quest: Rip Werewolves,Dragonslayer and Homesick are working correctly now.
  • UI: Redesigned the server list to make it easier to use.
  • UI: Fixed an ui issue that caused the durability bar to not display properly.
  • UI: Fixed an issue that caused the zoom of the map to only affect spawn points.
  • World: Attack without Stamina isn’t possible anymore.
  • World: Fixed a misplaced helmet in the title screen.
  • World: Traders will now show the correct price again.
  • World: The spawning mechanism will now check for nearby colliders and position the player at a free position if possible.
  • World: Running with an unsheathed weapon now costs 3 times as much stamina as before.
  • World: Changed the map markers so a click-trough is possible. There is still an issue with blurry text which will be fixed in a future update.
  • World: Fixed a bug that prevented built structures form updating their owner correctly, when a player joins or leaves a clan.
  • World: Fixed setting server as favourites.
  • World: Fixed an issue that caused players to be disconnected from the house when they equipped other armor sets.
  • World: Fixed an issue that caused items to be copied multiple times when being hit due to infinite durability.
  • World: Fixed an issue that caused the map to crash the game.
  • World: The health bar text no longer gets replaced with “immune” when the player is immune as it caused problems with displaying the correct health value once the immune condition vanished.
  • World: Removed unused axes from the InputManager, removing controller support entirely. This should fix joystick/controller issues.
  • World: Fixed several misspelling and localization issues.


Changes:

  • Localization: Spanish is available in the main menu and ingame now.
  • Totem: Totem decay protection now is 24, 48 and 72 hours as maximum – therefore the maximum sacrifice amount is set to 2300.
  • World: Players can’t use the shield with stamina < 7 anymore and gets damage while holding the shield while stamina is under 15.
  • World: Changed color settings for rarity levels.
  • World: Item durability now has an impact on an item’s sell price.
  • World: Improved settings for player movement interpolation which should result in an overall smoother movement.
  • Worls: Added world entity creation caching.
  • World: Experimental change to prevent invisible characters when dismounting.
  • World: Deactivated clouds for now till it gets fixed.
  • World: Removed the sound effect for negative conditons as most players find it annoying.
  • World: Recipes containing resources that are liquid containers will now require them to be fully filled before the player can craft the item (Example: Health Potions).
  • World: Sharpened sticks don’t have any durability anymore since it caused problems with the way how stacks are handled at the moment.
  • World: Rare items cannot be bought from traders anymore!
